Hirut M’cleod ’00

Hirut is impressed by the “culture of values” she sees in Wesleyan students. She knows they will “effect change because they’re never complacent.” An international management specialist, Hirut helps people around the world — from financial reforms in Congo to healthcare in Rwanda.

“Wesleyan makes it normal to be different. Students take a creative path you wouldn’t find at another school. I wanted to find a meaningful way to support future students as they make their own journey down that path towards changing the world.” Hirut has made Wesleyan a beneficiary of her IRA, a gift she knows will one day help students in their quest to change the world.
